Day 1 Day Trip To The 3 Valleys In The Atlas Mountains

A private vehicle will wait for you in the early morning to take you on the paths outside of Marrakech. The driver speaks several languages, which will facilitate contact and allow you to make yourself understood if you wanted to stop to take some photos on the way!

→ First stage: The Ourika Valley
Attention: glare guaranteed! Expect to be overwhelmed by the beauty of nature. The Ourika Valley amazes with its mixture of colors. The marriage of the red earth and the crystal blue of the river is breathtaking.

In just a few kilometers, you have left behind the euphoria of Marrakech to enter an authentic Morocco, where the Berber population has magnified its arid plains and its orchards. Impressive.

→ Second stage: Asni Valley
Continuing on the road to Oukaimeden and Sidi Fares, you join Tahenaoute to arrive at Val d'Asni. The panoramic view of Mount Toubkal - the highest in North Africa - is dazzling. In Sidi fares, you have a stop for lunch in a berber house with a very nice view to the atlas mountain right in front ( local menu)

Continuing towards the Kik plateau, cereal crops offer you an impression of vastness and freedom, the High Atlas as your only horizon. The color is always there when the fields of wheat are adorned with the red of the poppies.

→ Third stage: Lalla Takerkoust lake
Your excursion ends with the discovery of the Lalla Takerkoust dam. The artificial lake reigns serenity on the spot, still dominated by the snowy peaks of the Atlas.

On its banks, relaxation and relaxation await you. The perfect place to enjoy a mint tea, lulled by the lapping of water. Difficult to leave this idyllic environment to return to Marrakech!
