A country that never ceases to fascinate; the Morocco. Its name evokes palaces surrounded by sumptuous gardens, lively souks with the scent of multiple spices, buzzing streets of passers-by laden with carpets, pottery or good bread, strolls in the desert aboard camel caravans.
We offers you this unique 15-day trip to discover a rich and long history of a kingdom. There are many traces of the grandeur of the past, whether pre-Roman or Roman, Phoenician, ancient or even prehistoric.
You will witness its past rich in heritage monuments, sometimes even millennia, legacy of the dynasties of yesteryear. This past is also reflected in its very diverse gastronomy, certain methods of preparation of which go back to a distant history, more than 2000 years old. You will enjoy !!
Finally, Morocco is also magnificent landscapes, between sea and mountains (sometimes snow-capped), green valleys and fertile plains, desert plateaus and oases. If you are looking for nature and the great outdoors, you will be delighted.
This wonderful journey begins in Casablanca and continues through the chain of Moroccan imperial cities such as Rabat, Meknes, Fez and Marrakech. Then, for your other part of the trip, you will cross the region of the Middle Atlas to the desert to finish by crossing the High Atlas before arriving in Marrakech.
You will stop in each city to visit the most beautiful sites and have the experience of spending your nights in a traditional Riad. You will also meet Berber villages and their inhabitants who have a great sense of hospitality.
In the desert, your camel will transport you to the bivouac to spend the night in a traditional Berber tent.

Meet at the airport and cross the city with the first views of the Moroccan countryside. Visit the Hassan II Mosque (visits impossible on Fridays and days of religious festivals), the largest mosque in Africa, decorated with mosaics of different styles. Continuation of the visit of the capital, Rabat, and overnight in a Riad in the heart of the medina, a living community opposed to the landscapes of the Bougreg river. A space improvement project is underway, with a project to build a marina and promenades, as well as a new bridge for the tram connecting Rabat to this new space on the banks of the river.

After a breakfast at the Riad, you will return to the edge of the Bougreg river to visit the tower of Hassan and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, built in tribute to the King, died in 1961 and his son and successor, Hassan II, who died in 1999. Then, visit the Gardens of the Kasbah Oudaya, in Andalusian style, and inside, the Kasbah and its walls decorated with traditional blue and white paintings. This style of decoration is typical of the Mediterranean basin. The circuit continues in Meknes, with the visit of Bab Mansour, one of the most mystical sites in Morocco, the Moulay Ismaïl Mausoleum and the wheat barns. Night in a Riad.

After a traditional breakfast at the Riad, departure for Volubilis and its Roman ruins, spread over a large area, with a breathtaking view of the valley and its hills. From this place, you can enjoy and visit the holy city of Moulay Idriss. Non-Muslims are not allowed inside the Mausoleum, but the central square with its view and its small shops will charm you in every way! Continuation of the visit to Fez for dinner and overnight in a Riad.

Take advantage of this full day to visit Fez, the oldest of the four “imperial cities”. The medieval city of Fez El Bali, or "old town" is an exotic city with its lively souk. While visiting this part of the city, you can also visit the exotic Medersa Bou Inania, the Medina and the Kairaouine Mosque, where you can take a picture of the wonderful courtyard from the main gate and its famous souks. In the afternoon, you can also visit Fez El Jdid, or "the new city" as well as the museum of Moroccan art. Night in a Riad in Fez.

Departure from Fez around 8 am, crossing Azrou, where you can admire the Barbary macaques in the forest of the Middle Atlas. Lunch at Midelt, called the capital of apples, located at the foot of the Ayachi mountains. Continue through the passage of Tizi-n-Talremt and the Ziz valley, known for its palm trees and oases. Passing this unique route, you will discover countless "ksars", small typical villages. From there you will reach Er Rachidia and then Erfoud, known for its date and fossil festival. you spend the night in a new traditional Kasbah.

In the morning after breakfast, drive to Rissani, the birthplace of the Alalouite family, the family currently in power in Morocco. Visit the traditional market (donkey park) and the ancient Ksars of Rissani. Lunch is scheduled at Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga, followed by a camel ride for an unforgettable experience: the sunset over the desert dunes. Back at the bivouac for dinner, the evening will be under the sign of traditional Moroccan music and dances. You spend the night in nomad tents.

Early risers will be rewarded with a sensational sunrise show; you will observe the play of shadows and colors on the dunes! After breakfast, stroll through the dunes before leaving the camp and going to Tinghir, known for its gorges for lunch. Pass by Tinjdad and the Toudgha valley where you will find many paths on the banks of the river and through many gardens where you can stroll in peace. Your discovery continues to the Dades valley and its gorges for one night at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, we begin the exploration through the volcanic mountains of Sarhro. You will cross its mountains by the road to Tizni n Tazazart, a spectacular track through rock formations and gorges with breathtaking views. The journey continues through the Draa Valley and its innumerable palm trees as well as numerous Sub-Saharan Berber villages. You dine in Zagora and spend the night there.

Breakfast at the hotel. We will pass by Tamgroute to visit the famous Koranic Bookstore, the underground Kasbah and the pottery factory. Next, drive to M’hamid, the "Gate of the Sahara", for lunch. In the afternoon, after an hour of camel ride, we will take a track through the rocky and desert landscapes of Chegaga which stretches for more than 40 kilometers. Welcome drink and sunset are on the program. You spend the night at the camp or you will observe the spectacle of a starry sky which will be offered to you. Dinner and breakfast included.

After breakfast at the hotel, visit this magical 16th century city, listed as a UNESCO heritage site. Ait Benhaddou is a spectacular Kasbah, one of the best preserved in Morocco. A well-known place in Hollywood studios, Ait Benhaddou served as the setting for the filming of Gladiator in 2000. After visiting this almost unreal city, stroll through the landscapes of the High Atlas at an altitude of 2,260 meters. You will reach Marrakech at the end of the afternoon.

After breakfast, you spend the day discovering this fascinating city. Marrakech called the Pearl of the South was founded by the Almoravid dynasty at the end of the 12th century. This city is located in the heart of a palm grove and surrounded by snow-capped mountains (in winter). You will spend the morning exploring the souks of this city with its incredible Jamaa el Fna square, which by day is a market place. By night, you will discover an endless parade of performers and fantasy artists, in the light of torches. Magic!! Lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon you visit Saadian tombs, the Dar Si Said which shelters the museum of Moroccan Arts, the Menara, the gardens of Agdal, the Koutoubia (the mosque which measures more than 70 meters in height, visible from outside the city), and the Bahia Palace. For this evening, you can dine in a typical Moroccan restaurant accompanied by a folklore show (optional).

Morocco is home to some of the oldest retail cultures in the world, meaning there's no shortage of souqs waiting to be explored. Haggling in Morocco is expected and welcomed. You'll notice prices are not often listed on items in the souqs, so evaluate what you're willing to pay and come prepared to bargain with the shopkeeper - it's all part of the fun!
Moroccan leather is highly unique and the centuries-old tanning techniques are still practiced across the country today. The most famous tannery is Chouara Tanner of Fez, making it the perfect place to purchase quality, hand-crafted leather goods including slippers, bags, jackets, belts and wallets. Prices for leather goods start at approximately 10 USD.
Berber rugs and carpets are traditionally the craftwork of nomadic women from the Middle Atlas region and date back to the 2nd century BC. They are made from virgin wool from the sheep and can be found in souqs across Marrakech in all shades, sizes and shapes. Rug shopowners will encourage you into their store with the offer of tea, but feel no obligation to buy. Rug prices may range from 50 to 1,000+ USD.
Used by the local Amazigh people for its healing properties, Argan Oil is immensly popular in Morocco. It is common to see women sitting on the front step of beauty shops crushing the kerns of the argan tree into paste, which is sold cosmetically for its healing properties to skin and hair. The regions surrounding Essauira and Agadir are the only places in the world where the specific tree grows. In this region you can purchase a quality 150ml bottle of the oil for approximately 20 USD.
